La Encina, Vallada, L'Alcúdia de Crespins, Xàtiva, Alzira

Today, I'm heading from Albacete to Valencia, and it will be the warmest day during my trip
The temperatures are expected to rise above 40C today

At La Encina, the railway is split into two, one in the direction of Valencia, the other is to Alicante




The line between La Encina and Valencia has a single track, but it is now modernised with new platforms and other infrastructure
At Vallada station, there are new platforms

This station is the terminus for some Cercanias on the line C-2. Valencia has 6 commuter lines, all terminating at Valencia Nord station

Parallel to the 1668 Iberian gauge railway, there is a construction of 1435 Standard gauge railway - the plan is to move all faster trains there once completed

There are only 9 locomotives of this Class and all of them are now used by Captrain (previously Comsa Rail)

The fifth busiest port in Europe is also the second largest in Spain: the port of Valencia.
