ETR1000 "Frecciarossa" on the route Paris-Milan
This train was meant to be used in many European countries, but so far it is only Italy, France, and Spain.
Frecciarossa service Paris-Milan has replaced the former Thello night train, which of course is good because this service is faster, on the other hand, we can see an increase in night train service in Europe, so there is a potential for that too. I'm glad I had the opportunity to use Thello service before it was discontinued.
Hopefully, we can see more international services with this train in Europe.
Here is the competitor to Frecciarossa, TGV from Milan to Paris
Shortly, the Frecciarossa from Italy is appearing. There seems to be potential for both companies on this route.
Nice livery, but probably not so nice view for those looking out from these windows
Here is at least one freight train I see today
SNCF Class BB 36000, Astride
I have only seen this locomotive used for Thello services before. This one is subclass BB 36300 approved for operations both in France and Italy
Another TGV, this one is probably from Bourg St.Maurice
Chambery
