There are still some stations I haven't visited along the Southern main line, so today I'm travelling there.

 The station here opened in 1860, the building is from 1868. Between 1975 and 2013 no trains were stopping here.

 In Alvesta I can spot two Transmontana six-axle locomotives

 Mb 4001 and 4002 are the first Transmontana locomotives delivered to Green Cargo for SSAB freight services

 Manufactured in 2018 by Softronic in Romania

 Since Alvesta is not the primary destination for these locomotives, I'm assuming that they are still being tested. Hopefully we will see them in regular operation soon.

 There are only 6 Rm locomotives, and today I have seen two of them, 1259 earlier in Hästveda, and now 1261 here in Lammhult. The 1259 is by the way the only one with green livery.
