2017-12-01: Sorting my old photos, today I'm publishing photos from a trip a made in 2014 to Eksjö.

 I took Snälltåget from Stockholm to Nässjö, this was the first time for me taking this train.

 Eksjö is one of three best preserved wooden towns in Sweden, the other two are Hjo and Nora.

 The Emigrant Memorial commemorating 11000 people from Eksjö emigrating to America during 1860s.

 During the Swedish emigration to the United States in the 19th and early 20th centuries, about 1.3 million Swedes left Sweden for the United States.

 Eksjö railway station

 Back in 2014 the line was between Nässjö and Hultsfred, today Eksjö is the end station.
