Meco, Fuente de la Mora, Torrejón de Ardoz, Valdemoro, Getafe Industrial

Today I will be in Madrid area visiting different stations
Starting on the Madrid-Barcelona line and the station Meco
256 005 from Continental Rail
Continental Rail has now 4 units of this locomotive




I'm heading to another railway, a short bypass railway connecting Madrid's south and north parts. The station here opened in 2011
The gates are closed here, so I need a ticket to access the station
Since I will be visiting more stations in Madrid today, I decided to purchase a day ticket for 15 EUR, it covers all Madrid commuter lines

The 4 towers can be seen from the station
For me, this line is interesting from the freight point of view since it connects the railway from Hendaye with the lines to Barcelona, Valencia, and Sevilla
256 011, or 6011 is the same locomotive I saw the other day near Calatayud
Medway now has 5 Eurodual locomotives in the Iberian Peninsula

The line is also used by certain passenger trains, I guess for the transportation of trains between Atocha and Chamartin stations

I'm back at Madrid-Barcelona line and the station of Santa Eugenia

Since I have a day ticket, I'm now traveling by Cercanias trains
I'm now at the station of Torrejon de Ardoz



Renfe Class 333 originates from the DSB Class MZ. In Spain, there were manufactured by Macosa and GM in the 70's, and they were refurbished in the 00's

Low Cost Rail was established in 2016. It operates freight from Valencia-Silla to Vicálvaro-Mercancías and Coslada in Madrid.

Renfe Class 289.100 is a locomotive from the 70's manufactured by Mitsubishi, CAF, and Cenemesa
289 103 is from Tracción Rail
