Trip to Belgium
New trip to Belgium goes through Amsterdam
Yes, I am taking a flight between Amsterdam and Brussels, which is about 25min long
There are trains, of course, and some KLM flights are operated by Eurostar trains, but having luggage is more convenient with planes.
I am about to visit Mechelen, which is located near Brussels airport

The livery is from the former Thalys brand
Also, there are Eurostar trains to/from London
In Gent, I can view trains from my hotel window
Vossloh Euro 4000 from Europorte at Dampoort station
Same Euro 4000 on the way back, probably to France
This locomotive 4002 can operate in France, Belgium and Germany
Not sure about the route for this train, but one assumption could be between Bully-Grenay in France and Tessenderlo in Belgium
