Storvik

Today, I'm heading north to Gävleborg region, Storvik station
Morning train from Stockholm
Line up in Gävle

The train continues to Umeå

Freight trains are common through Gävle Central station

One of the newer Vectrons for HR, 243 124 manufactured in 2022

Purchasing some sweets from a local bakery in Gävle near the station
It's only 20min ride between Gävle and Storvik with TiB

Today, it's foggy and a bit mysterious

Storvik is a good place to spot many cargo trains
Rc4 1313

It's hard to tell what train it is until it's already there
It's one of two RRS trains from the north to Göteborg and Helsingborg
482 044 is a former SBB Cargo locomotive; since 2021 it has been owned by Nordic Re-Finance

This winter has been extremely cold and with lots of snow

Steel train from Luleå
Romanian locomotives Mb

Not only steel, at the end of the train there are some trailers from Logs Logistics with groceries from ICA

The second RRS train is today hauled with 187 415
