My journey continues further south from Denmark to Germany. I'm leaving Høje Taastrup station.

New high speed line Copenhagen - Ringsted (to the left here) is almost completed, and should open at the end of 2018.

Due to the rainy weather I've decided to not stop for a longer time here in Kolding, instead I'm taking my next train which is an IC3 service from Aarhus to Hamburg.
IC3 arriving to Flensburg, which is the border station between Germany and Denmark. Train continues to Hamburg, but I will take another train from here.
There are Regional Express services between Hamburg and Flensburg every hour. DB Class 112 locomotive is used here for the double deck push pull train.
